Following on from the Local History walk last year and the notes produced for it.
teamvalleylinks.com CIC has recently had an enquiry about Bus Stations on Team Valley.
Does anyone have any information about the two / three bus stations on Team Valley?
2 were called 'Team Valley Central' and 'Team Valley North End', but there are no pictures or dates for their closure to our knowledge.
There was a third bus station at Marquisway – there is a timetable for 1986 that refers to a no. 956 bus serving the 'South End Bus Station'.
The Central Bus Station was situated on North Princesway, immediately north of Almond Street.
The North End Bus Station was on the eastern side of Kingsway North, opposite Second Avenue.
The Central and North End Stations both appear in the Northern General Timetable booklet published in May 1974, and have telephone numbers suggesting that they were staffed.
