Aquila Way
Aquila Way is an award-winning Christian charity providing housing, support and other specialised services to the homeless, vulnerable and disadvantaged young men, women and children, ex–prisoners and those at risk of offending.
Young women and men with a variety of needs come to Aquila Way from various referral agencies both in and outside the area. The support provided aims to develop life skills that will enable the young people to live successful independent lives. The majority need help with most aspects of living independently, such as budgeting, cooking, shopping, benefits, obtaining training courses and/or employment and with constructive use of leisure time.
They are helped to find suitable move on accommodation when they are ready, with floating support as required.
Aquila Way receives funding through Supporting People and from various Trust Funds for specific projects, and also churches and individuals. Throughout the year we organise a variety of fundraising activities.
